In short

This website sets no cookies, loads nothing from third-party servers, and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. That is why there is no cookie banner: consent under § 25 TDDG is only required when information is stored on or read from your device, and none is.

What happens when you open a page

As with any web server, your browser transmits technically necessary data which our hosting provider writes to short-lived server logs: IP address, date and time, the address requested, the HTTP status code, the amount of data transferred, the identifier your browser reports (user agent) and, where sent, the referring page.

Purpose: delivering the page, security, and defending against attacks.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in secure and reliable operation.
Retention: we do not analyse these logs and do not combine them with any other data; the provider deletes them after a short period.

Hosting

This website is served by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). Cloudflare operates a global network of servers and normally serves the page from a location near you, which can involve a transfer to the USA. This is based on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and Cloudflare's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place.

Cloudflare provides us with aggregated page-view statistics. These are produced server-side from the requests themselves — no script and no tracking pixel is embedded in the page, nothing is stored on your device, and no cross-site profile is built. We see counts, not people.

Fonts

The fonts used here are stored on our own web space and loaded from it. There isno connection to Google Fonts or any other third-party server, and no IP address is transmitted to anyone in the process.

No forms, no newsletter

This website currently contains no contact or sign-up forms. If you email us, we process your message solely in order to answer it (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR).

Links to Google Play

The download buttons are ordinary links. No content is loaded from Google, and no connection to Google is made until you click one. Google's own privacy policy applies from that point.

The app is a separate matter
